Job Overview We are currently seeking motivated and passionate individuals to join our growing team as Children's Autism/ABA Behavior Therapists. As a Behavior Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work directly with children on the autism spectrum, implementing ABA therapy and counseling programs established by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one (1:1) in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans Work collaboratively with a BCBA Supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of ABA therapy Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions Maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work and be goal-oriented Essential Qualifications High School diploma or GED Experience working with children for 1 year in a 1:1 setting 1-year ABA Experience (or 1-2 years working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting) Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle Maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record Must have your own transportation and auto insurance in order to travel between clients Preferred Qualifications Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families Previous experience working with children on the autism spectrum Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Physical ability to lift up to 35lbs and perform activities that entail fine and gross motor skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Key Autism Services, we are committed to supporting the professional growth and development of our team members.
