Job Summary The Client Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in our organization, providing effective client service to all internal and external clients. Key Responsibilities As a Client Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Maintaining positive, cooperative relationships with other employees and displaying tact and respect with team members, even in busy or hectic situations. Feeling and expressing a genuine liking for animals and their owners, as well as a passion for working in an animal care field. Providing timely and accurate information to incoming client calls and product knowledge requests. Identifying, processing, and assessing client needs according to established policies and procedures. Handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution. Providing timely feedback to blithequark regarding service failures or client concerns. Partnering with other teams to meet and exceed client service expectations. Admitting patients and handling medical records entries accurately, including entering and updating client and patient information into practice computer software. Preparing health certificates, immunization certificates, laboratory requests, and euthanasia forms. Processing payments/client invoices for services performed, as well as handling client correspondence, including procedure reminders, thank you cards, welcome cards, sympathy arrangements and cards, and A/R statements. Receiving and relaying telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly, and answering telephones and handling calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will require: A high school degree. Previous client service experience is desirable, but not essential. Computer experience, including proficiency in practice computer software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members. A genuine passion for animals and their owners, as well as a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in an animal care environment, such as a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.
