Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a Clinical Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our providers, members, and health plans. Your primary responsibility will be to answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a professional, accurate, and timely manner. Key Responsibilities Receive and respond to incoming telephone calls from providers, members, and health plans in a professional, accurate, and timely manner Communicate effectively with callers to understand their needs, provide information, and resolve issues Utilize proprietary systems to look up caller information, record interactions, and provide timely responses Forward complex issues to the appropriate department for further research and resolution Manage time efficiently to ensure calls are answered within required timeframes and follow-up actions are taken in a timely manner Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to all legal and compliance requirements Complete all required trainings and attend weekly staff meetings to discuss issues, share best practices, and foster teamwork Respond to internal and external customer requests in a prompt and professional manner Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and contribute to the success of blithequark Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience in customer service, preferably in an inbound call center environment Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems during a single interaction Strong verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision and maintain productivity Preferred Qualifications Experience in the healthcare industry or a related field Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare concepts Previous experience working with proprietary systems and software applications Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., CCSP, CSP) Core Competencies Demonstrated ability to interact in a positive, respectful manner and establish cooperative working relationships Excellent customer service skills to meet the needs and expectations of internal and external customers Strong listening and interpersonal communication skills to identify critical issues and develop effective solutions Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task, and manage time in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated accuracy and productivity in a changing environment with constant interruptions Ability to analyze information, problems, and issues to develop effective solutions Ability to exercise strict confidentiality in all matters Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
