Experienced Commercial Planning Supervisor for blithequark's Disney+ Team - Remote Work Opportunity

Join blithequark's Innovative Team as a Commercial Planning Supervisor Are you a seasoned business analyst with a proven track record of driving business growth within global B2C organizations? Do you have a passion for data-driven decision-making and a keen eye for detail? blithequark is seeking a talented Commercial Planning Supervisor to join its Disney+ team, responsible for launching and operating Disney+ across Europe and Africa. About the Role The Commercial Planning Supervisor will be an integral part of the newly formed Business Performance and Planning team, providing a unified view of ongoing E&A trading performance of Disney+, driving insights and decision-making to optimize subscriber growth, and managing the Disney+ annual and quarterly planning process. This role will collaborate closely with brand and performance marketing teams, country teams, E&A BD and strategy team, as well as Finance and Analysis teams across the region and DSS in NY. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain key planning models, including the annual operating plan model and the monthly forecasting model, complete with executive-level summary views, streamlined metrics, and clearly identified inputs and assumptions. Support the development of D+ annual strategy and quarterly planning and monthly/bi-monthly forecasting process. Model business cases and scenarios to inform decision-making on pricing, go-to-market strategies, and optimization of monetization. Conduct ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses on drivers of performance for the previous quarter. Support in anticipation of EMEA and US business updates. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience working in data-driven environments and driving decision-making through data. High numeracy and analytical capability, with attention to detail. Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to tailor comms to different audiences. Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple project timelines and deadlines that run concurrently. A positive, people-oriented, and lively disposition, with the ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications and skills will be considered a plus: Experience in the media and entertainment industry. Knowledge of Disney+ and its business operations. Proficiency in financial planning and analysis tools.
