As a Consumer Insight Intern, you will be part of a talented team that drives business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making. • *Day in the Life** As a Consumer Insight Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our Buyer Knowledge group in various activities, including: • Conducting subjective and quantitative customer research on the side of the Disney Parks and Resorts section • Collaborating with authorities to examine secondary data sources, plan research studies, interpret qualitative and quantitative data, create presentations, and share results with internal partners • Helping to analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration • *What We Are Looking For** We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have: • **Essential Capabilities:** + Strong critical thinking and logical abilities + Experience with SPSS or a similar statistical package + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint + Ability to gather and analyze data and write about the results + Strong communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to translate data into insights and create compelling presentations • **Preferred Capabilities:** + Experience with SurveyMonkey + Past research experience + Familiarity with data visualization tools • *Required Education** To be eligible for this entry-level position, you must be a recent graduate (within the past six months) or current student (taking at least one class in the semester/quarter preceding the internship) seeking a Four-year degree in Marketing, Finance, Human Science, Psychology, Statistics, Business, or a related field. • *Additional Requirements** • Must be at least 18 years old • Must not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or program • Must have unlimited work authorization • Must be willing to adhere to The Disney Look appearance rules • Must have a reliable, stable plan for working throughout the internship • Must have solid transportation to/from work • *Program Length** The estimated dates of this internship are January 2024 - June 2024. • *Florida Lodging** We offer lodging opportunities for Florida Professional Assistants through the American Grounds People group.
