**Experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist – Remote 24/7 Mental Health Crisis/Suicide Prevention Team**

We're seeking an experienced Crisis Intervention Specialist to join our remote 24/7 mental health crisis/suicide prevention team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for handling incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also known as 988. You'll provide brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. **About the Role** This is a remote position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in crisis. As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you'll be working on a 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention focused team, providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments. You'll also conduct follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide and meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation. **Responsibilities** * Provides telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments * Answers crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs * Conducts follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide * Meets the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation * Actively participates in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings * Assist in administrative tasks as needed **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field * Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification * Six months to one year of related crisis experience * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficiency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources * Knowledge of suicide assessments and crisis intervention * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities **Preferred Qualifications** * Master's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or related field * Experience working in a crisis hotline or mental health setting * Certification in crisis intervention or suicide prevention * Bilingual or multilingual skills **Work Environment and Culture** At arenaflex, we're committed to creating a workplace that reflects the growing world around us, where everyone feels empowered, safe, and welcomed.
