Key Responsibilities As an Associate, Customer Acquisition at blithequark, you will be responsible for a range of duties designed to drive sales growth, customer satisfaction, and revenue expansion. Your key responsibilities will include: Working within a dedicated territory and team to achieve revenue-based quotas by selling renewals/services and identifying up-sell opportunities Providing accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts to inform business decisions Developing and maintaining mastery of product knowledge and technical understanding of services to assess client requirements and deliver tailored solutions Initiating steps to address customer concerns and roadblocks, ensuring prompt resolution and enhanced customer satisfaction Managing external competitive pressures and handling objections to retain customers and win new business Handling a high volume of customer contacts via phone and email, with a focus on outbound communication Collaborating with your team and management to deliver a professional experience during all customer interactions Maintaining the customer management system (CRM) to ensure all relevant data is captured and up-to-date Undertaking sales motions, including lead qualification, lead conversion, health checks, and contract renewals Working closely with your team and reporting directly to a Sales Manager to achieve shared goals and objectives Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications: Ability to commute to our Nashville, TN hub or work from home with a reliable internet connection Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a customer service or sales capacity, with a proven track record of success Prior experience in achieving personal and team sales quotas/goals, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices Experience in high-volume calling, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to learn new technology and data, with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and analytical thinking Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks, with a strong understanding of sales psychology and customer behavior Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity and sensitivity Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and concise manner Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Time management skills: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Adaptability: Strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances, including new technologies, processes, and priorities Resilience: Strong resilience, with the ability to handle rejection, feedback, and constructive criticism Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
