Job Overview The Customer Care and Technical Support Representative, Level 1, plays a vital role in our remote call center environment, delivering exceptional customer service and resolving technical issues through various support channels, including inbound phone calls, chat, email, and SMS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert troubleshooting, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for our clients. This is a temporary/contractor role that offers a 40-hour workweek at $16.50 hourly, with opportunities to work with a dynamic team and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Technical Issue Resolution: Provide expert troubleshooting for blithequark-provided equipment, addressing start-up/log-in issues, hardware damage, and software viruses. Customer Service Excellence: Deliver outstanding customer service across all support channels, ensuring a positive experience for clients. Application Support: Offer comprehensive support for blithequark's suite of learning systems and business applications. Escalation Management: Promptly escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate Tiered support team. Order and Replacement Management: Handle the ordering and replacement of materials and computer equipment efficiently. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School Diploma / GED and relevant work experience, OR Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar call center role Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in a high call volume environment Physical requirements: sedentary work, fluent typing, listening, speaking, extensive reading, repetitive motions, and extended computer usage Thorough knowledge of home-based connectivity support Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during our hours of operation Attend virtual training via web cam Expertise in PC and Internet applications and use Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Proficiency in web-based applications (Salesforce experience a plus) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience with blithequark Previous customer service work Salesforce Experience Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
