Job Overview In this essential role, you will play a vital part in delivering best-in-class service experiences to our customers, helping them navigate our pharmacy services, and providing support and guidance every step of the way. As a remote Customer Care Representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, collaborating with our team of dedicated professionals to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. This is a 40-hour per week position, with a variable reduced hour schedule that may require flexibility outside of normal business hours. Key Responsibilities Virtually assist customers and other advisors over the phone, email, and web with billing/insurance verification, product, or service questions, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries. Manage both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that every interaction is an opportunity to build a long-term relationship with our customers. Proactively identify solutions to questions you anticipate our customers having, taking a hands-on approach to resolving every issue from start to finish or partnering with our pharmacist and pharmacy staff if clinical advisement is necessary. Provide technical support to customers navigating our website, ensuring that they can easily access the information and services they need. Help answer customer inquiries regarding their insurance and copays, as well as shipping needs, providing clear and concise information to support their decision-making. Serve customers in a timely manner, maximizing our relationship with them and promoting customer loyalty and retention. Promote customer privacy and safety by maintaining adherence to our Work From Home policy, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with confidentiality and care. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum age of 18 years old. 6+ months of professional experience working with computer and web-based tools, with excellent communication skills (spoken and written). 1+ year of relevant phone or email customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer support in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a customer service or call center, with a strong understanding of the importance of teamwork and collaboration. Experience working in a healthcare environment, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and support. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations, with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box to resolve complex customer issues. Strong technical skills, with experience using computer and web-based tools to support customer interactions and resolve technical issues.
