Job Overview In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Technical Sales teams to deliver the value of arenaflex Cloud to our clients. As a Customer Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the technical needs of our clients, designing and delivering tailored solutions, and providing expert guidance on the implementation of our cloud-based products. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping our clients to overcome complex technical challenges and achieve their business goals. Key Responsibilities Identify business and technical requirements, lead full technical discovery, and design customer solutions to meet assembled requirements Lead technical projects, technology support, bid response support, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources Deliver product messaging for the arenaflex Cloud Platform using whiteboard and slide presentations, product demos, white papers, trial management, and Request for Information (RFI) response documents Drive recommendations on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application frameworks to implement a complete solution, providing best practice advice to clients to optimize arenaflex Cloud platform effectiveness Attend client sites, meetings, and other events as required Qualifications and Experience To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The following qualifications and experience are required: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience At least 2 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role Experience with legacy and modern application development, cloud service delivery, and networking Experience with containers, including Kubernetes and other related technologies Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are preferred, but not essential: Active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance Experience developing mobile architectures using API management, microservice architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration systems, or other relevant platforms Experience working with Government Public Sector clients, including defense and civilian agencies Knowledge of application security designs, including web application security, service mesh, and mobile security techniques Ability to learn, understand, and work with emerging technologies, philosophies, and solutions in the arenaflex Cloud/IT technology space Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the business needs of our clients and develop solutions that meet those needs Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
