Job Overview In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction with our services. As a Customer Experience Agent at blithequark, you will be the face of our company, representing our brand and values in every interaction. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be essential in building trust and loyalty with our customers. Key Responsibilities Field incoming customer service calls, assuming responsibility to resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. Research account status and identify account issues, taking proactive steps to address and resolve them efficiently. Address billing inquiries and resolve billing disputes in a fair and transparent manner, providing clear explanations and solutions to our customers. Process disconnection and re-connection requests, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed and that our customers are informed throughout the process. Enroll customers and resolve enrollment issues, providing guidance and support to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. Initiate collection activity on past due accounts and process disconnection and re-connection requests, always adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies. Serve as a customer advocate, listening to their concerns, and providing personalized solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively with our diverse customer base. Outstanding phone etiquette and polished communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Excellent listening skills, allowing you to understand our customers' needs and concerns, and respond appropriately. Ability to maintain a calm demeanor when dealing with agitated customers, remaining patient, empathetic, and professional in all interactions. Attentive to detail and committed to high-quality customer service, ensuring that all interactions are handled with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Willingness to identify problems and suggest process improvements, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service operations. Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Word and Excel applications, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where change is commonplace, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inbound call center environment, with customer care experience strongly preferred. Experience within the retail electricity industry strongly preferred, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and practices. Experience in similar markets such as utilities, telecom, or cable preferred, with an understanding of the complexities and challenges of these industries.
