Experienced Customer Service Adviser – Fully Remote Calls and Web Chat Support Specialist

About the Role We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Adviser to join our Customer Operations team. As a Customer Service Adviser, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support and resolving issues quickly and efficiently. This is a calls-based role with some supporting web-chat work, and you'll be working from the comfort of your own home. You'll be responsible for listening to our customers' concerns, providing honest and transparent solutions, and escalating issues to specialist areas when needed. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to our customers via phone calls and web chat, resolving issues quickly and efficiently Listen to customers' concerns with positivity, empathy, and patience, and provide solutions that meet their needs Spot patterns and identify potentially vulnerable customers, as well as financial crime, and escalate issues to specialist areas when needed Work well under pressure, managing high volumes of calls and web chats, and meeting targets and performance metrics Context switch between various tasks throughout the working day, using our self-serve internal user guides to solve customer queries Collaborate with other teams to resolve customer issues and improve our overall customer experience Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you'll need: Customer service experience, with a passion for delighting customers and providing exceptional service Experience working in a similar call-based or contact centre environment, with the ability to navigate multiple technical systems Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively using different mediums The ability to work well under pressure, with high volumes of work, and meet targets and performance metrics A strong understanding of our mission and values, and a passion for learning and developing your skills To be a UK resident, over the age of 18, with the right to work in the UK Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a banking or financial services environment Knowledge of payment systems and financial regulations Experience working with vulnerable customers or those with complex needs A certification in customer service or a related field Skills and Competencies: To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work well under pressure, with high volumes of work Strong problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to context switch between various tasks throughout the working day A strong understanding of our mission and values, and a passion for learning and developing your skills The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team Career Growth and Learning Benefits: At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
