As a Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, you will be part of a dedicated team that shares a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and driving business growth. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join our Glasgow Head Office team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders and enquiries are handled efficiently and effectively. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading industry player, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our business. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Advisor at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Taking inbound calls from customers and responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner * Providing quotations and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner * Operating and maintaining spreadsheets to track customer interactions and sales performance * Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction * Producing weekly reports to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement * Raising contracts and discussing with customers to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process **What We Offer** In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £26,000, plus a range of benefits and perks, including: * Monday to Friday shifts on a rotational basis between the hours of 8:45am and 5:30pm * Great additional benefits, including staff incentives and loyalty holidays * Employee Welfare Fund (company-funded social events) * Access to in-house Learning & Development team to support your career growth and development **About You** We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Advisor who has a proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment and has demonstrable experience of working in a fast-paced, high-volume call centre environment. You will have: * A proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service * Experience of working in the hire industry would be advantageous, but not essential * The ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize your workload to meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and be highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency * Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues * Proficient skills in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word **Essential Qualifications** * A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume call centre environment * A strong understanding of customer service principles and practices * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload to meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and be highly organized **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience of working in the hire industry would be advantageous * Knowledge of plant hire industry products and services * Experience of working with CRM systems and databases * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals and objectives **Skills and Competencies** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent customer service skills, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer experiences * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues * Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload to meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and be highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency * Proficient skills in MS Office packages, including Excel and Word * Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals and objectives **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
