Job Overview As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing amazing client experiences to individuals traveling with us, using our freight or baggage services, or seeking assistance with their travel plans. Your duties will include handling all aspects of ticketing and check-in, working with a modern retail system, boarding, baggage handling, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues. You will be the face of arenaflex, setting a welcoming tone for our clients' travel experience. Key Responsibilities: Offer friendly assistance and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external clients Work in a collaborative spirit to ensure the success of our organization Provide exceptional client service to individuals seeking to travel, use freight or baggage services, or requiring assistance with their travel plans Handle all aspects of ticketing and check-in, including working with a modern retail system, boarding, baggage handling, reservations, and resolving related complaints and issues Greet and handle clients in a courteous and friendly manner, handling cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets Process transactions, make change, and balance daily transactions, being responsible for any overage or shortage Check in baggage and freight, answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist as needed Handle transactions required to board the aircraft in an efficient and timely manner Manage upset clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage, resolving issues quickly and within guidelines set by the organization Provide current and accurate admission, schedule, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general questions from clients and other airport visitors Complete forms and reports as required by the organization Prepare incident and complaint reports as necessary Perform other work duties as directed by supervisors Essential Qualifications: To be successful as a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the airline industry Ability to speak multiple languages Knowledge of airline operations, ticketing, and reservations systems Experience working with modern retail systems and technology Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Ability to type or use a computer keyboard with adequate speed to meet the needs of the job Ability to read documents, follow instructions, learn and understand ticketing procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful conditions Ability to complete the Customer Service Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and a probationary period Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies on a case-by-case basis Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve quick turns of aircraft Ability to present a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Operations Agent Handbook and Employment Agreement Ability to perform all job functions within a limited space Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively Excellent written and oral skills Ability to communicate information and instructions verbally or via radio equipment Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
