We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fill the role of a Customer Service and Insurance Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance sales and service, preferably in commercial insurance, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our team, you will engage in inbound sales, advise business owners on insurance and risk management, and build strong relationships with our members, non-members, and insurance carriers. Key Responsibilities Engage in inbound sales to advise business owners on insurance and risk management, utilizing a consultative approach to understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with members, non-members, and insurance carriers to ensure long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with insurance standards and minimize errors through meticulous documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements. Provide accurate risk management solutions based on industry trends and regulatory changes, staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the insurance sector. Utilize Agency Management Systems and CRM platforms to select appropriate products and carriers, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our customers. Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate endorsements, renewals, and other underwriting decisions, leveraging your knowledge of insurance principles and practices. Perform Insurance to Value (ITV) calculations for diverse property types, applying your analytical skills to deliver precise and reliable results. Handle account services including policy changes, renewals, and cancellations, providing exceptional customer service and support throughout the process. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma. 1 year of insurance sales and service experience, preferably in commercial insurance, with a proven track record of success in a similar role. Valid Property and Casualty insurance license for your home state or the ability to obtain within 90 days, demonstrating your commitment to professional development and compliance with industry regulations. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make your application more competitive: 2 years of Commercial Lines Insurance account management experience, with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges of commercial insurance. Experience with Agency Management Systems, Salesforce, and multiple carrier environments, showcasing your technical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Active P&C General Lines License for your home state, highlighting your expertise and dedication to the insurance profession.
