Job Overview In this role, you will be the face of blithequark, interacting directly with customers, and playing a vital part in driving sales growth and customer satisfaction. Your primary objective will be to provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves our store feeling valued, informed, and satisfied with their experience. You will work collaboratively with our sales team to achieve sales targets, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and perform various administrative tasks to support the sales process. Key Responsibilities Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, listening to their needs, and providing personalized solutions to meet their requirements Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns they may have Maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services, making recommendations to customers, and promoting sales opportunities Perform clerical duties, including managing customer files, contracts, and other administrative tasks Clean, organize, and move merchandise as required, ensuring the sales floor is always presentable and safe for customers Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets, participate in visual merchandising, and maintain a positive and supportive team environment Essential Qualifications Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues A strong desire to help customers, with a customer-centric approach and a passion for delivering exceptional service Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing situations High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with a minimum age requirement of 18 years old Physical ability to perform tasks, including lifting 50 lbs. without assistance and 300 lbs. with a dolly, with training and tools provided to ensure safety Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, sales, or retail, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and navigate our sales and customer management systems Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and peak sales periods Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, providing opportunities for career advancement and professional development.
