About the Role Founded in 1947, arenaflex is a leading distributor of exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets. The Inside Sales/Customer Service position is a critical role in our Supply Center, primarily responsible for serving and supporting customers through superior customer service that meets their unique needs. This support can be face-to-face, over the phone, or via email, requiring a high level of product knowledge, consultative selling skills, and the ability to resolve customer issues and questions. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer needs thoroughly, timely, and accurately Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers Field and resolve customer issues and questions in a professional and courteous manner Perform inside sales duties as needed, utilizing consultative selling skills to establish, develop, and service new customer accounts Provide quotes to customers, process customer orders, and schedule product deliveries, communicating effectively with customers throughout the process Order inventory for replenishment, ensuring accurate order entry and maintaining a safe work environment Support the Supply Center Team in attaining overall goals and objectives, following direction from the Branch Manager and performing other duties as necessary Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: The ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment Composure under pressure, with a results-driven and self-motivated approach Effective time management, organization, and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong listening skills The ability to learn and embrace new technology, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for your work Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A college degree, preferably in a related field 2+ years of experience in a retail/wholesale environment, with demonstrated success working with customers Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience, with general knowledge of the building industry Physical Requirements and Work Environment This role requires: Frequent standing, walking, bending, talking, and listening, with location-specific lifting requirements Working in a warehouse environment and office space, with forklifts present and Personal Protective Equipment required Temperature fluctuations, ranging from extreme cold to extreme heat, and frequent use of company communication devices Benefits and Compensation At arenaflex, we offer a range of benefits, including: Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for employees and their eligible family members A 401(k) plan with matching contributions, as well as vacation time and paid holidays A collaborative environment with idea-sharing, learning, and curiosity, along with training and mentoring opportunities Opportunities for growth within the company, with bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation available Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
