About the Role As a Customer Service and Technical Support Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for external users of our client's technical products or services. Your role will involve responding to basic and routine inquiries of a technical nature, including hardware/software issues, and providing effective solutions to customer problems. You will be an integral part of delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving ongoing innovation, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to help the world's best-known brands improve their businesses. Key Responsibilities Assist external users of the client's technical products or services by identifying, investigating, researching, and providing resolution to their questions and problems. Troubleshoot basic and routine technical issues related to hardware, software, networking, or other designated client products, with a focus on customer experience. De-escalate customer complaints and concerns while demonstrating empathy and building rapport. Follow established escalation procedures to resolve technical issues, including making follow-up outbound calls to customers or other parties as needed. Solve unstructured problems that require extensive use of conceptual thinking skills. Ensure that the service delivered to customers meets contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, using agreed-upon procedures. Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns, probe for understanding, and respond accordingly. Your Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you should possess a combination of technical expertise, customer service skills, and personal qualities that enable you to deliver value and success with every customer interaction. The ideal candidate will have: Essential Qualifications A non-Apple, non-Chromebook personal desktop or laptop (bring your own device). Courteous demeanor with a strong customer service orientation. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn. Dependable with proficient attention to detail. Skilled in multi-tasking, with the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Patience in all customer contact situations, maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner. Preferred Qualifications One year of related technical experience. Relevant technical expertise related to the program, including working knowledge of hardware, software, networking, data storage, troubleshooting, and repair.
