Your key responsibilities will include: * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience * Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Completing resets and revisions as directed * Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers **Essential Qualifications** To be successful as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training in customer service or a related field preferred * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues effectively * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role: * Previous experience in customer service or a related field * Knowledge of retail operations and procedures * Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register * Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use arenaflex's store systems and equipment * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision **Skills and Competencies** To succeed as a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve customer issues effectively * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm * Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with frequent standing, walking, and bending * Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use arenaflex's store systems and equipment * Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills and career.
