Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Associate to provide exceptional patient and customer service, register sales, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, while also ensuring that our store is well-stocked, clean, and compliant with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient and customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Register sales on assigned sales register, collect cash and distribute change as needed; process voids, returns, delays, discounts, and exchanges as required. Keep counters and retail areas clean and well-organized, take stock, and maintain accurate records. Carry out organizational resource protection methods to identify and minimize loss. Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled items (e.g., tobacco and tobacco products). Develop and maintain displays, including seasonal, promotional, and special displays, and complete resets and updates as assigned. Assist with the separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as determined by procedures/systems (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment. Provide customer assistance in the photo area, including digital ID photo service, banner print, and imaginative machine, and sell of special photo items. Take on web pick-up responsibilities (screens orders in Picture Care, handles orders (pick items), and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store). Assist with external and internal support by ensuring a perfect, clean, and deliberate store condition and appearance. Conform to all organizational policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues. Complete special tasks and other assignments as assigned. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours. Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Preferred Qualifications At least six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with Walgreens. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic knowledge of store operations and procedures. Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of store systems and store equipment. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
