About the Position As a Customer Service Consultant, you will serve as a vital point of contact within our client-facing team in a call center environment. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to a variety of client service requests and issues, which may include enrollment and billing inquiries, commissions, technical support, group administration, and other routine customer service inquiries. The role emphasizes delivering first-call resolution for 90-95% of inquiries, which requires accurately identifying, researching, and resolving issues based on the initial communication from the client, whether it be through phone calls, letters, or emails. Key Responsibilities Respond to client service requests and issues in a call center environment, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Deliver first-call resolution for 90-95% of inquiries, leveraging your problem-solving skills and technical acumen to address client concerns efficiently. Accurately identify, research, and resolve issues based on initial client communication, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all interactions. Provide support for enrollment and billing inquiries, commissions, technical support, and group administration, utilizing your knowledge and expertise to resolve complex issues. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all interactions with clients, ensuring a positive and personalized experience. Utilize problem-solving skills to address and resolve client concerns effectively, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, with a strong foundation in customer service principles and practices. Prior call center experience is required, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Experience in process improvement and root-cause analysis methodologies is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions. Capability to develop technical acumen is necessary, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Strong client-facing orientation is essential, with a passion for delivering personalized and empathetic service to clients. Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills are required, with a proven ability to resolve complex issues and address client concerns effectively.
