Job Overview We're currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Delivery Station Liaison to join our team at arenaflex. As a Delivery Station Liaison, you will provide best-in-class customer service from within our delivery station, organizing successful re-delivery attempts for customers' parcels. You will call customers to confirm crucial delivery details, prevent further delivery delays, and work with warehouse teams and Delivery Service Partners to ensure that packages are re-delivered successfully on the same day. Your goal will be to pre-emptively solve delivery defects, reducing customer effort and providing an exceptional support experience. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to customers via phone, ensuring that their delivery issues are resolved promptly and efficiently Organize successful re-delivery attempts for customers' parcels, working with warehouse teams and Delivery Service Partners to ensure same-day delivery Call customers to confirm crucial delivery details, preventing further delivery delays and reducing customer effort Work with warehouse teams on the ground to ensure that packages are re-delivered successfully on the same day Pre-emptively solve delivery defects, reducing customer effort and providing an exceptional support experience Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, using computer systems to update customer information and track delivery issues Collaborate with other teams, including warehouse and delivery teams, to ensure that customer delivery issues are resolved promptly and efficiently Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following essential qualifications: The right to work in the United Kingdom without restrictions Experience in customer service, retail, or hospitality industry Flexible with regards to shift work, with a non-negotiable time schedule of 10am-8:45pm, Wednesday-Saturday Exceptional communication skills in English, including the ability to clearly and concisely communicate in writing and speech, listening, and interpreting customer needs Excellent time-management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment while maintaining standards for productivity, quality, and service Ability to take ownership and be proactive, with intermediate computer literacy and a willingness to learn quickly and embrace change Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, we're looking for candidates who possess the following preferred qualifications: Hard-working, articulate, and detail-oriented, with a friendly and customer-focused approach in every situation Ability to learn quickly and embrace change, with a willingness to work in a high-energy environment and multitask with ease Experience working in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints Basic knowledge of computer systems and software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to work under pressure, with a calm and composed demeanor in high-stress situations Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations, with a willingness to embrace change and take on new challenges Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
