Job Overview The Customer Contact Center Representative plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently responding to a wide array of complicated and complex issues. Utilizing multiple technology channels, you will analyze and address customer concerns, leveraging your expertise to resolve issues in a single interaction. Building trust with customers is essential, requiring the anticipation of their needs and the provision of precise information. You will educate customers on various blithequark products and services, enhancing their overall experience and supporting them by maintaining an understanding of complex electric and gas rate options across multiple service territories. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service through multiple communication channels, primarily phone calls, ensuring professionalism, empathy, and knowledge in every interaction. Anticipate customer needs and offer tailored solutions using advanced problem-solving skills, addressing and resolving complex customer inquiries with critical thinking. Provide specialized technical support to customers, responding to gas and electric emergency situations with a high degree of precision to ensure public safety. Participate in an on-call rotation and some weekends as required, handling customer phone calls and performing additional duties as assigned, including involvement in special projects. Maintain a thorough understanding of blithequark's products and services, including complex electric and gas rate options, to provide accurate and helpful information to customers. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 18 months of customer service experience or equivalent, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in communication, problem-solving, and technical skills. Proficiency in hardware and software technology, with a focus on Microsoft Windows products, and the capability to proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technology-related issues. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, with a compensation premium available after passing a Spanish-language proficiency test, enabling you to serve a diverse customer base more effectively. Previous call center experience, which would provide a strong foundation for success in this role, along with knowledge of customer service principles, practices, and techniques.
