About the Role As a Merchant Services Group Leader at blithequark, you'll play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction, resolving complex issues, and mentoring a team of customer service representatives. You'll report to our Merchant Services Manager and be responsible for demonstrating best practices in case and line management, issue resolution, and metrics monitoring. Key Responsibilities Mentor and coach team members to improve their overall performance on key metrics, providing guidance and support to help them excel in their roles. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, seeking opportunities to grow and learn about the business and identify areas for improvement. Make a positive impact on customer experience by inspiring the team to deliver exceptional customer support and making it easy for merchants to work with blithequark. Identify areas for improvement and implement projects to enhance efficiency and quality, driving continuous improvement and innovation. Respond to and resolve escalated complaints from customers and merchants, providing timely and effective solutions to complex issues. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service, business, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in a customer service or related role, preferably in an office environment, with a proven track record of success. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges. A customer-driven mindset, with the ability to work effectively with individuals with varying levels of technical expertise. Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis and drive insights to inform business decisions. The ability to work effectively in both independent and team-based environments, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. A strong understanding of the customer service industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Experience with customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and other relevant tools.
