**Experienced Customer Service Representative - After Hours Support for Elderly Home Based Care Services (REMOTE - US Hours)**

As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective assistance to clients and caregivers, ensuring seamless communication and resolving queries in a professional and courteous manner. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Answering all incoming calls in a timely and professional manner * Resolving client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours support * Providing timely responses to queries that come in through our texting platform * Notifying clients and replacing caregiver callouts as necessary * Confirming caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start * Performing initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services * Documenting all scenarios on our platform, as well as updating caregiver schedules as needed * Completing non-urgent administrative projects if time allows **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications: * **Fluent English**: You must be proficient in English, both written and spoken. * **Compassionate and confident**: You should be able to provide empathetic and supportive communication to clients and caregivers. * **Responsible and reliable**: You must be able to work independently and manage your time effectively in a remote setting. * **10+ years' work experience in customer service + office duties**: You should have a strong background in customer service, with experience in handling multiple tasks and responsibilities. * **Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours**: You must be able to work a 3-day week with 4-hour shifts per day, as well as a Saturday and Sunday shift of 12 hours per day. * **Impeccable phone and computer skills**: You should be proficient in using computer software and have excellent phone etiquette. * **Staffing and/or health care experience**: You may have experience in staffing or healthcare, which would be an asset in this role. * **Experience working remotely and independently to the USA**: You should be comfortable working in a remote setting and have experience communicating with clients and teams in the US. * **Quiet and professional work-from-home environment**: You must be able to maintain a quiet and professional workspace at home. * **Remotely set up with Wi-Fi and load-shedding back-up**: You should have a reliable internet connection and a backup plan in place for load-shedding. **Essential Qualifications** While the above requirements are essential for success in this role, we also welcome candidates with the following preferred qualifications: * Experience working in a similar role, such as customer service or call center support * Knowledge of Elderly Home Based Care services and the healthcare industry * Certification in customer service or a related field * Experience with CRM software and other customer service tools **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Proficiency in using computer software and technology * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
