About the Role arenaflex is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team in a work-from-home capacity, based in Florida. As a key member of our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team, you will provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Key Responsibilities Provide overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and re-verifying benefits. Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system. Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues. Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment. Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities. The following are essential and preferred qualifications: Essential Qualifications One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with skills and aptitude in this area. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology are highly desirable.
