Job Summary As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences, while also contributing to the success of our retail operations. You'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, managing inventory, and providing outstanding service to our customers, all while maintaining a safe and welcoming store environment. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Manage inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining store displays Operate a cash register, handling electronic fund transactions, cash, and check transactions Maintain a well-organized and clean store environment, including customer waiting areas and workstations Promote sales and services to customers, building loyalty and driving revenue growth Handle phone calls efficiently, triaging and answering queries promptly Implement measures to prevent theft, damage, and expired products, including frequent checks on product viability Follow guidelines for managing and monitoring non-prescription medication inventory using an automated inventory management system Adhere to and promote all safety and hygiene policies and programs, as per health code regulations Report any hazardous conditions, criminal conduct, or suspicious behavior to store management Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum age requirement: 18 Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Preferred Qualifications Previous comparable experience in customer service or retail operations Experience with inventory management within a retail operation Proficient in customer registry management, phone inquiries, and cashier engagements Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and company policies Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and sales Skills and Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to empowering our team members to take ownership of their own futures.
