Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers have a positive and memorable shopping experience. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. Key Responsibilities Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported. Assists in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, contributing to a safe and secure environment. Helps in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transports merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring that our stores are always fully stocked and visually appealing. Independently stocks shelves and recovers merchandise in the store, taking pride in the presentation of our products and the overall appearance of the store. Accurately handles customer funds and processes transactions using the POS system, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. Remains constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any customer concerns or issues. Performs all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements: Education: Prefer completion of high school or equivalent. Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience: Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height; must be able to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
