As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be part of a team that is committed to making a positive impact on people's lives. Key Responsibilities Respond to incoming calls, emails, and chats from customers regarding FSA Loan Servicing, providing timely and accurate information and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Make outbound calls to customers to address their concerns, provide updates, and offer solutions. Utilize computerized systems, knowledge bases, and standard technology to respond to customer inquiries and perform job duties. Process requests received via general correspondence and notate accounts regarding actions taken in response to those requests. Support Contact Center expectations, as well as departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Maintain regular use of the feedback tool to give and receive constructive feedback on call quality and department tasks. Assist with Credit Bureau Requests utilizing established processes and procedures. Refer escalated calls or inquiries to appropriate levels as needed. Essential and Preferred Qualifications Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent with 6 months of customer service experience. Fluency in English (speak, read, and write). Basic math and PC skills, including MS Office applications. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Additional Requirements Reside in the U.S. and be a U.S. citizen. Pass a criminal background check. Ability to work scheduled holidays, overtime, and weekends. Effectively read a prepared/written script out loud. Not be in default on any federal student loans. Obtain and maintain a PIV-I card, which requires in-person pickup.
