You'll actively assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems, while also providing guidance and directions to resolve any issues that may arise. Your exceptional communication skills, active listening abilities, and problem-solving expertise will enable you to de-escalate emotionally charged situations and provide a positive experience for our clients. **Key Responsibilities** * Answer incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism * Assist with enrollment, program applications, and setup in applicable systems * Retrieve information to assist caregivers with payroll-related inquiries * Utilize de-escalation techniques to support upset or frustrated callers * Offer guidance and directions to resolve any issues that may arise * Document information and outcomes as necessary **About You** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * At least one year of customer service experience * Strong computer skills and the ability to offer troubleshooting advice when necessary * Empathy, patience, and a friendly demeanor at all times * The ability to handle calls of a sensitive nature and de-escalate emotionally charged situations * Great active listening skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail * The ability to multitask and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment * A quality-focused mindset and a desire to achieve first call resolution whenever possible * The ability to accurately and confidently work with numbers and discuss money **Your Home Office Environment** To ensure your success as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need a dedicated home office environment that meets the following requirements: * A computer with: + Operating System: Windows 10 or 11 + Memory: 8GB of RAM + CPUs (Speed * Processors): 6 + Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space + Sound: sound card (standard on most computers) + Up-to-date antivirus software * Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please) * Dual monitors * A USB noise-cancelling headset * A webcam for your certification experience **Flexible Hours of Operation** As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 08:00 PM ET. You'll be required to service at least 20 hours per week, with a preference for contractors who can service some hours on Mondays and Fridays. **Pay and Perks** This flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour. Prior to supporting our client, you'll need to successfully complete a Certification class, which will take place from December 30th through January 8th. You'll receive $250 after you successfully complete certification and begin servicing.
