About the Role: Providing World-Class Customer Service As a customer service representative with blithequark, you will have the opportunity to interact with guests and travel agent partners via phone, providing support and answering questions related to cruising, destinations, ship amenities, and other pre-cruise related travel inquiries. This is a work-from-home position, offering you the flexibility to choose your service intervals, seven days a week, ensuring that you can balance your work and personal life with ease. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional customer service to guests and travel agent partners via phone, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Utilize your knowledge of cruising, destinations, and ship amenities to answer questions and provide recommendations, enhancing the customer experience. Work independently from home, managing your time effectively to meet service interval commitments and performance standards. Collaborate with the blithequark team to share best practices, feedback, and ideas, contributing to the continuous improvement of our customer service delivery. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike. Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently in a home office environment, with reliable internet access and a dedicated workspace. Flexibility to choose your service intervals, with a commitment to meeting performance standards and service level agreements. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working with cruise lines or in the travel industry, with knowledge of cruising destinations and ship amenities. Previous experience working in a flexible, work-from-home environment, with a proven track record of meeting performance standards and service level agreements. Completion of a customer service certification program, or a degree in a related field such as hospitality, tourism, or communications.
