Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Assist customers with medical insurance questions, providing accurate and helpful information while demonstrating empathy and understanding. Accurately document call content in real-time, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints and concerns, promoting a positive and supportive work environment. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, product knowledge, and company policies, continuously improving your skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service. Schedule and Training The schedule for this role will be Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with rotating holidays as needed. The initial training period will be approximately two weeks, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, providing a comprehensive introduction to our systems, policies, and procedures. Essential Qualifications Must be a New York State resident to be considered for this role. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in the healthcare industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a call center or customer-facing environment. Knowledge of medical insurance and healthcare industry practices. Certifications in customer service or related fields, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Medical Receptionist (CMR). Bilingual or multilingual skills, with ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer base.
