Our team of dedicated professionals is committed to excellence, and we are seeking like-minded individuals to join our ranks. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative on this project, you will play a critical role in supporting the Florida Department of Commerce by providing exceptional service and support to customers through various communication channels. You will be responsible for assisting callers with completing online applications, responding to telephone inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. If you have a strong passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Responsibilities** * Utilize standard call-center technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to provide exceptional service and support to customers * Assist callers in completing online applications and respond to telephone inquiries within set time parameters * Report problems through an easy online system and respond to written and telephone inquiries from claimants and third-party contacts * Participate in training, team meetings, and reviews of internal and external communications to stay up-to-date on policies and procedures * Adhere to provided schedule and privacy rules set forth by the programs we serve * Complete all assigned training as necessary and maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and policies as they apply to the various programs we service * Perform other duties as assigned by leadership, including filling out timesheets and maintaining accurate records **Education, Skills, and Qualifications** * High School diploma or equivalent required; experience working with the Florida Department of Commerce (Unemployment) highly preferred * Must be able to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently * Minimum 1 year of customer service/call center experience required * Must be able to type a minimum of 20 WPM and have experience working with a PC and the Windows operating system * Ability to effectively work within established contractual turnaround times required * Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to organize simultaneous tasks and work as a member of a team * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion **Screening and Background Check** You may be required to undergo a background screening and fingerprinting as a requirement of the project.
