**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Logistics and Transportation Management**

As a customer-facing representative, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, each with their unique needs and challenges. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner * Utilizing your typing skills to efficiently process customer requests, while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail * Developing a deep understanding of our clients' needs, anticipating their requirements, and providing proactive solutions to meet their expectations * Collaborating with our logistics experts to resolve complex issues, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the industry * Working with our Transportation Management System (TMS) and other software applications to manage customer data, track shipments, and optimize logistics operations * Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as EDI communications, transportation management, and customer service best practices **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Prior experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry * Excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 80-95 WPM and high accuracy * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues * Proficiency in the English language, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner * Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other software applications, such as SAP, McLeod Software, Keypoint, Aljex Software, or other top brokerage software * Experience with EDI communications, including EDI codes, tenders, protocols, and error troubleshooting **Preferred Qualifications** While not essential, the following qualifications would be highly desirable: * Prior experience with IT-related software and systems * Multilingualism, with the ability to communicate with clients in multiple languages * Familiarity with logistics and transportation management concepts, including transportation modes, freight classification, and carrier management * Experience working with Fortune 500 companies, or similar high-profile clients **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in fast-paced environments * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues * Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
