As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling claims, benefits, enrollment, and other related inquiries. About the Role This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within a one-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA 19103. The role is available for a duration of 3+ months, with the possibility of being converted to a permanent position. We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our team and provide exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound customer calls, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. Manage claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and other related customer inquiries. Demonstrate empathy and a customer-centric approach to resolve customer issues. Maintain a high level of professionalism, using proper grammar, language, and tone in all interactions. Navigate through multiple systems simultaneously to retrieve and update customer information. Meet productivity and quality standards, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends, as required by the role. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must possess: Call center customer service experience, handling inbound calls. Excellent customer-focused competencies, with strong problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex messages. Empathy and a customer-centric approach to resolving customer issues. The ability to navigate through multiple systems simultaneously. A score of 80% or above on the eSkills test. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center environment. Experience in the healthcare industry, preferably with Medicare. Previous experience handling inbound calls in a call center environment. A medical background or relevant experience.
