About the Role As a Customer Service Representative - Medicare at blithequark, you will be responsible for providing 5-star service to customers, resolving their issues, and addressing their concerns in a timely and professional manner. This is a 100% remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere within a one-hour radius of Philadelphia, PA 19103. You will be part of a dynamic team that values empathy, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound customer calls, responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Medicare claims, benefits, enrollment, and other services. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for customers and upholding the high standards of the team. Navigate multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information, process requests, and resolve issues efficiently. Communicate complex information clearly and effectively over the phone, using proper grammar, professional language, and a customer-centric tone. Demonstrate empathy and strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly. Work a variety of shifts, including late nights and weekends, as part of a 37.5 hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime as needed. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have: Call center customer service experience, handling inbound calls (no telesales). Excellent customer-focused competencies, with strong customer service skills and a service-oriented mindset. Empathy and strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information over the phone. The ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously and score 80% or above on the eSkills test. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred: High school diploma or GED with 2 years of customer service experience or call center experience. Healthcare industry experience, particularly in Medicare. Previous Medicare experience or a medical background. Call center customer service experience, handling inbound calls.
