Job Overview This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm EST. Occasional overtime may be required, given the business need. We offer weeks of on-the-job training, and the hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule. As a telecommuter, you will be required to adhere to arenaflex's Telecommuter Policy and have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Primary Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls daily from patients and identify the type of assistance the customer needs Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance when needed Research issues across multiple databases and work with support resources to resolve customer issues and/or partner with others to resolve escalated issues Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age or older 1 year of customer service experience Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday, with flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00am - 10:00pm EST Preferred qualifications include: 1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools Prior health care experience Soft Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following soft skills and competencies: Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner Proficient conflict management skills to resolve issues in a stressful situation Career Growth and Development Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
