Job Overview The Customer Service Representative role at blithequark is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient-centric support and education. As a key member of our team, you will interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our company's reputation for high-quality service. This position requires independent and self-directed performance while working collaboratively across a greater team to achieve our goals. Key Responsibilities Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients. Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while working closely with the patient. Conduct numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure our patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent and compliant to their therapies. Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information. Utilize knowledge of insurance, health care, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education. Perform routine assessment and problem identification with appropriate escalation to a pharmacist. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 1 year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone. 6 months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application. Must reside in the state of Nevada. Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a health care or pharmacy setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and health care concepts. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software or other similar applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
