Job Overview The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in our operation, serving as the primary point of contact for our clients and interacting with Technologists in the field, as well as representatives from our regional accounts. As a front-line staff member, you will work closely with Directors of Nursing and Administration to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service. In addition to providing outstanding customer service, you will also have the opportunity to cross-train in our Dispatch department, further expanding your skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities Receive and process customer orders via telephone or fax, ensuring prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service Handle an average of 11 calls per hour per eight-hour shift, including inbound calls, after completing a four-month training period Provide accurate and courteous responses to customers, solving routine and complex problems in a timely manner Display active listening and superior customer service skills for both external and internal customers Document activity in our system and enter orders manually via our fax process as needed Operate our phone system effectively and adhere to your scheduled work hours Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to work independently and as a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication Strong customer service skills, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences Solid communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening skills Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to think critically and outside the box Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage your time effectively Professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence Ability to type 35-40 words per minute, with basic computer knowledge and proficiency in our systems Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment Medical terminology or experience preferred, but not required High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Must have high-speed internet for remote work, with a reliable and secure connection Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare services Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively Additional education or training in a related field, such as healthcare administration or customer service management Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
