opportunities for professional growth and development **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for: * Completing daily tasks and balancing features related to checking processing, object processing, direct bills, and budget transfers * Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues and ensure compliance with regulations * Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing * Working member cases and sports assigned, following established guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and Federal Banking laws * Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, financial ruin, and payoff exams * Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products * Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes, and/or returns * Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching * Completing daily balancing and department closing * Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic budget switch requests * Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing budget switch information * Communicating with vendors to facilitate budget transfers * Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget switch regulations * Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers * Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, overseas collections, and prison fees **Essential and Preferred Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school degree or GED * Intermediate Excel and Word experience * Previous customer/member service experience (preferred) * Previous banking or Credit Union experience (preferred) * Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience (preferred) **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through work experience or education and hands-on use * Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs * Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team * Ability to perform mathematical calculations and review data * Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high-pressure conditions * Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department * Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors * Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision * Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail * Ability to effectively prioritize
