As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for handling everyday tasks related to check processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Key Responsibilities Complete data entry and balancing tasks with accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate return items with members, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing Work member cases/sports assigned, ensuring timely and effective resolution Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, research, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching, ensuring efficient and accurate processing Complete daily balancing and department closing, maintaining high levels of productivity and organization Obtain information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information, ensuring accuracy and compliance Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers, building strong relationships and resolving issues promptly Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws, regulations, and procedures Deposit check returns, research member bad checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities with ease Strong mathematical skills, with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data accurately Ability to prioritize work effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain high levels of productivity and organization Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and members Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer/member service experience, with a strong focus on providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly Previous banking or Credit Union experience, with knowledge of financial regulations and procedures Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a strong focus on flexibility and responsiveness Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
