About the Role In this role, you'll be working from the comfort of your own home in Texas, engaging directly with customers who contact us for a variety of topics, from helping them shop for their new pet to finding the perfect chew toy, or even problem-solving when something doesn't go as planned. You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: Engaging directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve their queries and concerns Researching and problem-solving to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively, and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution Operating with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and team members alike Collaborating with teammates, your direct manager, and other team members across many levels of the organization using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to an infectious customer-centric culture of collaboration Adapting to change with the business needs of the company, being flexible, and willing to learn and grow with the organization Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment Ability to multi-task, maintain a conversation on the phone while navigating on the computer and taking notes, and perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computers, both for data entry and for rapid navigation through systems and the internet to search for information to help support our customers High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Knowledge of the pet industry or experience working with pets Experience with customer service software and technology Bi-lingual or multi-lingual skills Technical Requirements To work from home successfully, you'll need: A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and is free from distractions, including any background noise that impacts the customer experience A reliable wired, high-speed internet and broadband connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed) A cell phone or tablet that can be used for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify A webcam and headset for virtual collaboration and customer interactions arenaflex will provide the necessary computer equipment, software, and tools to ensure your success in this role.
