As a remote work-from-home opportunity, this role offers the flexibility and autonomy to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary duties and responsibilities will include: * Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide exceptional customer service and support. * Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner. * Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle, and time management to ensure high-quality service delivery. * Providing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. * Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. * Demonstrating strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions. * Working in a fast-paced environment with high stress levels, requiring calm and professional demeanor. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. * At least one year of office experience, preferably in a customer service or telecommunications role. * Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired. * Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. * Excellent alpha and number recognition skills, as well as demonstrated mathematical abilities. * Basic PC skills and ability to type at least 30WPM. * Reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position. **Physical Requirements** As a remote work-from-home opportunity, you will need to meet the following physical requirements: * Heavy phone and PC usage, sitting for extended periods of time, and frequently reaching above shoulder level. * Fast-paced environment with high stress levels, requiring calm and professional demeanor. * Ability to work 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to work from home. **Required Skills** To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following required skills: * Customer service background and good phone skills. * Excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. * Excellent alpha and number recognition skills. * Demonstrated mathematical abilities. * Basic PC skills. * Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism. * Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions. **Required Knowledge & Experience** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following required knowledge and experience: * High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred. * At least one year of office experience, preferably in a customer service or telecommunications role. * Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired. * We are following the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19! All interviews and training have transitioned to a virtual platform. **Additional Requirements** To ensure your success in this role, you will need to meet the following additional requirements: * A home office/room or quiet and designated space to work in as a remote worker is required. * Safety is hugely important to us, you will be required to have a fire extinguisher in your home. * You will be required to have a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) before you can start.
