Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service experiences that exceed expectations. Under the guidance of our experienced customer service supervisor, you will be responsible for handling telephone inquiries, managing customer accounts, processing payments, and initiating cases for further investigation with diligence and care. Your ability to communicate effectively, think critically, and resolve issues efficiently will be essential in maintaining high-performance standards and ensuring seamless customer interactions. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in navigating the account opening process, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience. Clearly communicate account terms, conditions, and policies to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have. Process account payments and perform end-of-shift cash-out procedures with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain high-performance standards to ensure exceptional service delivery, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Conduct account maintenance tasks such as changes, adjustments, and statement requests, ensuring that customer information is up-to-date and accurate. Reach out to customers for additional account information as needed, following up on pending issues and resolving them in a timely manner. Provide support in resolving customer concerns and correspondence, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary. Prepare insightful reports, including the CSR Daily Activity report and cash-out report, to help inform business decisions and optimize customer service operations. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our requirements. These include: A High School Diploma, with some college preferred, and a minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in typing, with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute, and strong computer skills with the ability to multitask across various programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. A willingness to commute to our Union, NJ location for the initial 5-week training period, followed by fully remote work from home. Successful completion of a background check and drug test, as a condition of employment. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable and may be considered an asset in your application: Bilingual candidates fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers. Previous experience in a transportation or logistics environment, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations and practices. Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology platforms used in customer service operations.
