Key Responsibilities Communicate effectively with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes, providing education and support to ensure informed decision-making. Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, working closely with the Specialty Projects Team and patients to achieve desired outcomes. Engage in numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients remain on their medications and adhere to their therapies, promoting positive health outcomes. Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information to resolve issues efficiently. Demonstrate a working knowledge of insurance, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing new referrals, and providing customer education. Perform routine assessments and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as necessary to ensure timely and effective resolution. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess certain essential qualifications and skills. These include: 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone, with a strong focus on empathy and patient-centric care. 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application, demonstrating proficiency in technology and data management. Residency in the state of Nevada, with the ability to work from home if standards are met, including maintaining approved internet speed requirements and a secure, distraction-free workspace. Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in education and a commitment to ongoing learning and development. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred for this role: Experience working in a health care or pharmacy setting, with knowledge of medical terminology and health care operations.
