Key Responsibilities Complete data access and balancing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our operations Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve issues promptly Assist other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated Accounting standard ledger balancing to provide seamless support Work on member cases and projects assigned to you, utilizing your problem-solving skills and attention to detail Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products to ensure quality and accuracy Log, report, and make necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns to maintain our financial records up-to-date Process Stop Pays and Check Batching to ensure efficient payment processing Complete daily balancing and department closing to ensure a smooth operation Obtain information from members for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information to ensure accuracy and security Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers and resolve any issues that may arise Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws and regulations to ensure compliance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word skills Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience Skills, Licenses, and Certifications To excel in this role, you should possess: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through work experience or education and hands-on use Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs Excellent customer service skills to provide top-notch support to our members Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-volume pressure Ability to cross-train and perform any role assigned within the department Ability to engage professionally with all personnel and members Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
