Our Specialty Pharmacy team is at the forefront of this mission, working tirelessly to ensure that patients receive the specialized care and attention they deserve. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for the general coordination and handling of new patient drug requests and reorders, including verifying and renewing benefits. You will also assist our patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay payments, obtaining approvals, and collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with outstanding claims or clinical issues. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide exceptional phone support to patients receiving specialty medications, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner * Coordinate and handle new patient drug requests and reorders, verifying and renewing benefits as necessary * Assist patients with deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into our pharmacy data system * Collect and process copay payments, obtaining approvals as required * Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with outstanding claims or clinical issues * Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues **Essential Qualifications** * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and preference **Preferred Qualifications** * A half year of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * Medical healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and effective manner * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * Strong keyboarding skills and preference for PC-based work environments * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
