About the Role As a Customer Service Representative (Student Loan Advisor) at blithequark, you will play a vital role in supporting student borrowers by answering their questions, providing detailed information, processing applications, and resolving any emerging problems they may face. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, and your excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will be essential in delivering exceptional customer service. This is an in-center position with the possibility of working from home after 90 days, provided you meet the required performance, attendance, and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: Take incoming calls, use chat, and complete outbound calls as necessary to assist customers with their inquiries and concerns Utilize standard technology such as a telephone, email, and web browser to navigate to pre-scripted responses and provide basic general and claims-specific information Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures, including working within various systems, timekeeping, documentation, and adhering to ethics and privacy rules Assist callers with filling out their applications and submitting them electronically to plan providers for processing Complete basic call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry Schedule and Work Environment The schedule for this role is as follows: Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. Our office is equipped with the latest technology and resources to support your success in this role. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute Experience working with a personal computer and the Windows operating system Ability to effectively work within established key performance indicators/metrics Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to multi-task and stay organized while completing simultaneous tasks What We Offer At blithequark, we recognize the importance of rewarding our employees for their hard work and dedication.
