About the Role In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to student borrowers, addressing their questions, and resolving any issues they may encounter. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the face of our organization, interacting with customers via phone, chat, and email. Your primary objective will be to deliver personalized, competent, and patient support, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming calls, chats, and emails from customers, providing accurate and timely support Utilize standard technology, including telephones, email, and web browsers, to navigate customer accounts and resolve issues Follow established policies and procedures, adhering to ethic and privacy rules, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions Assist customers with filling out applications and submitting them electronically for processing Complete call logs, documentation, and related call details for each phone inquiry Work collaboratively with team members to achieve individual and team goals, promoting a positive and supportive work environment Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to speak and read English clearly, professionally, and fluently Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute Experience working with personal computers and the Windows operating system Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word Excellent command of the English language, with effective use of grammar skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a contact center environment Knowledge of contact center technology and software applications Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support team members Experience working in a team-driven environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication What We Offer: At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our team members with a comprehensive compensation package, including: Competitive pay Sick time accrual, starting immediately after training completion Special event days throughout the year $25,000 life insurance, paid for by arenaflex Paid holidays, starting on day one of employment (subject to meeting certain criteria) Work Schedule: The schedule for this role is as follows: Monday: 11:45am-8:15pm Tuesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Wednesday: 10:45am-7:15pm Thursday: 8:45am-5:15pm Friday: 8:45am-5:15pm Career Growth and Development: At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our team members.
