About the Role We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for our members, addressing their questions and concerns regarding prescription insurance, medication coverage, and mail-order prescriptions. Your expertise and empathy will help simplify the healthcare experience for our members, making a tangible difference in their lives. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls from members, providing clear and concise answers to their questions regarding pharmacy benefit plans, prescription insurance, and medication coverage. Offer personalized solutions to members, helping them understand their coverage and options, and ensuring they receive the care they need. Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy benefit plans, staying current on industry developments and changes. Demonstrate empathy and patience when interacting with members, providing a positive and supportive experience. Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands. Adhere to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements, ensuring the confidentiality and security of member information. Essential Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing environment, such as a call center, retail, or hospitality setting. Proficiency in Windows-based applications, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Ability to problem-solve in a positive and productive manner, thinking critically and creatively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to customers in a patient and helpful way. Reliability and compliance with scheduling standards, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to the team.
